Here at Recharge Your Skin, we understand that we are living through unprecedented times. As a client-facing business, we are treating the current outbreak of Covid-19 seriously and our priority is to keep everybody as safe as possible. For now, we are following government advice and are continuing to operate as normal with some additional safety measures!

Booking Appointments:

-
If we feel ill or have symptoms of C0VlD-19, we will self-isolate immediately. This may mean that we have to cancel your appointment at short notice. We appreciate that this may be inconvenient, but it is done entirely for your own safety. If your appointment is cancelled, you will be able to re-book again or ask for a full refund
-
If you or any of the people you live with feel ill or display any symptoms of C0VlD-19 – please advise us as soon as possible and do not come into the Salon for your appointment
- We will send you a Covid-19 questionnaire by text the day before your appointment. Please reply with a yes or no to each question before your appointment
-
Visiting the Salon:

-
Please attend your appointments as close to the appointment time as possible. Please do not turn up early for appointments as this may mean that you come into contact with other clients who are just leaving
-
You will have access to soap and hot water to wash your hands with as soon as you enter the salon and we will also have hand sanitiser available for you to use when you come into the salon
-
we will understand and not be offended if you wish to wear a facemask or wear disposable gloves when you visit the salon and during your treatment if this is appropriate.
-
Please do not be surprised or upset if we use personal protective equipment (PPE) during your visit and during your treatment. This may include disposable gloves / facemasks / face visors / aprons where appropriate.
-
We can confirm that the laundering of salon towels and uniforms is a priority. We can assure you that all salon laundry is washed at 60 degrees C.
-
All disposable items are bagged and safely removed from the treatment area at the end of the day.
-
Throughout and at the beginning and end of each day, we will be disinfecting common surfaces, door handles, the card machine and in between every client we will disinfect tools
-
Wherever possible we will use environmentally- friendly, single-use items that will be disposed of safely after use in order to protect you from cross infection
-
We have removed all magazines from the salon for the time being
-
We have removed tester products from our shelves. However, if you would like to try a product, please ask us as we’d be more than happy to dispense it for you
During your treatment
-
We have carried out a risk assessment on all treatments and we are confident that we can continue to provide these safely
-
We understand the importance of hand hygiene and we will ensure that we wash our hands in accordance with NHS recommendations before the start of your treatment
-
We will try to make your treatment as safe, comfortable, and enjoyable as possible. If you have any concerns about your treatments, please let us know and we will do what we can to satisfy you

After the treatment
-
You may notice extra bottles of hand wash and hand sanitiser around the salon - these are for you, the staff, and anyone else who wants to use them.
-
We are already a cashless business and only accept card payments
-
In order to avoid handling of cash, you will be required to pay for your treatment at the time of booking online or by card

All these procedures have been implemented for your safety and mine. We will continue to take advice from the Government and the NHS regarding safe practice and will amend them, as necessary.
Thank you for your understanding.
